Default Problems with Yahoo?

Please Login to Remove!

So it started out this morning with not being able to log into Yahoo Messenger because of an Invalid Yahoo! ID or Password error. Like so many others, my ID and password are stored for daily use. After a couple of those errors, I tried retyping both over and over and over again, but still nothing. Tried deleting service books and re-registering the Host Routing Table. Still nothing. Finally went to just log into Yahoo via the BB Browser, and there too, it tells me Invalid ID or Password, but I can log in just fine via PC. HELP!

Could be Yahoo. I've had the problem but it never lasted long, though I'm not using Yahoo messenger on the blackberry now. At any rate, I would do a battery pull. If that doesn't fix it, wait a while and try again. Unless someone comes along who knows something specific.

P.S. There's some BIS problems going on, apparently nationwide, for some. Perhaps what you are seeing is related, though I wpuld think you would see other problems, too. But who knows.

Yes. This is still a problem. I would also see if other messenger apps are working

GTalk is just fine, as are my TwitterBerry and IRC apps. I have tried a couple of soft resets, but not a battery pull yet, but its been going on all day so I guess that's the next step.

Don't know. Perhaps you could find out with a search, but I advise just doing a hard reset to start with. Pull the battery for about 30 seconds and replace, then try again.
