i solved my problem..
Here is the answer.

When I delete vendor.xml I also remove the vendor ID= lines from the Blackberry.alx file. Once you do this loader.exe will work. All lines where the word vendor is written.
The desktop manager doesn't allow me to upgrade to 5.0 either, loader.exe has no such check. Open loader.exe and folow the installation.

I hope it`s gonna help.

This is the same as the beta that was out a week or so ago. Very stable.

No issues at all I can see, and battery life seems improved. Now I just need to find some v5 themes.

Default mobile banking works again!

So, I deleted the mobile banking app and reinstalled it, and then reactivated it through SunTrust, and it works again.

Go figure.

Well, memory usage seems to be better-I started out with 28mb and its only down to 25mb with beejive running. Last version was a memory pig, at least 8 mb lower at start. Camera buttons seem to be fixed, but now the screen lock button is missing. RIM's devs need to be taken outside and beat, because they're ballocks.

Performed the update ;everything went smooth. Very stable ,no more errors like in 4.6. Also a major improvement(from my point of view at list) now it has also romanian language. Unfortunatelly this could more usefull on a device like Storm or Flip.

Installed on Monday as Beta. Works well. Memory seem better, although time will tell as usually memory improved right after installing any new OS. Any of the OS 5s seem to take up more room than 4.6.
PocketDay still not scrolling until any key is pressed, with this OS and my previous 2 OS 5s. Only became an issue after upgrading to OS 5.

Battery life seems better after one day of use. .464 was terrible in that regard on my phone.

This OS has alot of problems with the ringtones. A lot of the ringtones on the list sound identical with different names and I keep getting the wrong alert for my messages even though the menu shows the right alert.

Loving this update. I like how if I hold the mute key and it goes to standby it just automatically dims the phone instead of having to say it's in standby

Although I do still miss the 'k' lock

Wirelessly posted (7100g)

Have the issues relating to lack of easy multiple WiFi SSID connectivity from the previous release been resolved?

Cheers,

P.

I had the same to happen after updating to .464, though in my case it was only 1 tone that was replicated several times under different names. I'm curious. Did you do a complete wipe beforehand?
