i'm using .822 and like it but...

i have found that changes to my OL07 contact (eg, updated addresses, telnos) are no longer synching to the corresponding contacts on my bold

our help desk things have had me turn off then turn back on wireless reconciliation, but that didn't fix problem

anyone else seeing this and/or have ideas how to fix? thx

I'll be installing in a bit and I've give some feedback ;) Ive installed lots of these OS and I have on occasion have had to revert back to one but the .681 im running now is the best of all (so far...) my only complaint is that the battery seems to drain waaaay fast. Let's see how this one works ;)

I am facing this problem too and have missed some really important calls too
I am planning to shift back to OS4.6 or anything other than this one. Do drop in, if you find a better lower version.

KB24307-Ringtones and alerts do not play regardless of the tune or volume setting

Seems 681 might be the best OS for now.

Help! I just got a new 9000, it has the 4.6 OS, when I try to upgrade to 5.0 it tells me that I dont have enough memory, it tells me to get rid of unused languages which I did and to erase unused applications which I have done. Its a new bold so I have added anything to this ph yet but it still tells me that I need to erase at least 3MB more. aaarrrgggg. What do I do?

Well after a 2 hour call with Rim I found out it was a Mac issue. The software mistakenly states there is not enough memory when in reality there is plenty. The only work a round is install the update on a pc then you can go back and sync as normal on your Mac.

Just wanted everyone to know in case anyone else comes across this issue.

Has anyone reported any issues with VVM on this build. I'm running a rogers bold on at&t and have been on the phone with them all day trying to get this thing provisioned. And it still dosent work.
I've even tried removing the app. Then reinstalling it. And to no avail.

Have you looked at the sticky threads at the top of the 9000 forum?

And a search within that forum turned up this thread:
