Default Upgraded OS, now I'm missing two browser features.

Please Login to Remove!

This is a great site. Thank you BlackBerry Forums.

I have a Cingular 7130 on a BES 4.x. I upgraded my handheld software with 7130cM_PBr4.2.1_rel154_PL2.3.0.78_A4.2.1.96_AT&T.e xe about a week ago. Also, my co-worker upgraded the version of our internal BES.

There are many things to like about this new OS but I'm missing two things that I liked about the included web browser:

1) When in a text box such as the one I'm using to type this post I can no longer use the thumb wheel to get the menu to copy, paste, etc... When I press the wheel nothing happens. When I move outside of the text box the wheel menu is accessible.

2) I used to be able to use the wheel to move rapidly through a page. When holding the bottom left button each click of the wheel would move in that direction a full page.

What am I doing wrong? I'm pretty sure they would not remove features like that.

Thanks for the help.

1) It's a bug I believe, related to the difference of trackwheel and trackball.
2) Try the spacebar

I'll be happy when they fix it. I post/reply to posts much less from my BlackBerry right now.

OK. I've been using the PgUp, PgDn, Home, and End keys but when a page is super long . . . well, I'm lazy. The PgDn using the wheel was awesome. This one is no huge loss really.

I wanted to make sure there wasn't a setting somewhere that I was missing. Thanks for the confirmation. So I'm not crazy then!

Cheers-
