Default Thinking of giving in to TMobile

Thinking of giving in to TMobile and purchase the 8300. B4 I do I want to be prepared to protect my new device. Few questions:

Does TMobile provide u w/ a holster?

Yes or no: What would you BB addicts recommend in fashionable yet practical holsters?

Most importantly: Skin; I hear so much talk abt skin protection but the 2 devices I have had where are tough I never purchased 2nd party protection. Which skin would you recommend out there?

Thank you much in advance!

Jack, a clip holster does not come with the 8300, but you can buy an OEM clip holster separately. Also, TMo is not selling the 8300 yet. You will need to get one used or from ATT.

TMo does have the 8320, Curve.

Some use BestSkinsEver. I use a silicon skin that doesn't cover the face, but I like it and I use the clip holster, constantly. For the screen protect, I use ScreenPatronis, others recommend ShieldZone as well.

Thanks much JSanders. Actually meant 8320. Will check out some of those sights!

Which is the skin that is clear, but boarders the devise in color? It might actually be a slide in skin but not sure.
Have no clue what material it is but it really looks simple & nice; at least in the photos I have seen.

hmm, the BestSkinsEver is a very clear total skin that takes about 30 minutes to install on your BB... total coverage. I have never used, others rave about it.

The silicon skins are like this...BlackBerry Skin Case >> BlackBerry Skin Cases >> BlackBerry Cases >> BBerry

So, the clear could be BSE

I'm debating between BSE & a possible silicon skin. BSE would be nice, thin, and clear altho I'm a little scared of the application process. I had a silicone skin on my old ipod and it was never a tight/snug fit. It either was stretched in certain areas or it was loose and the ipod would shift, which is what I'm scared of and don't want with the curve. Do you have this issue?

I guess I can go w/ one of the clear protectors and then get the rubber BBerry Skin for further protection. Wont need a holster then.

I have had this phone for 2 weeks now. I put it in a simple black silicone skin and bought a Holster from Welcome to the official web site of Ripoffs brand products by the US Armor Corporation! via their distributor www.holsterdepo.com (just under $20). The model I bought is CO-129FFM-v2 -- The CO-52M works also. These are made of very heavy black woven nylon. They have a full flap and velcro seal. I have used this brand of holster on a previous phone and with a marine radio. They are nearly indestructable. Check out their site it has a lot of information --Dan--

I definitely recommend getting a skin case and screen protector for your phone. It will also increase the value of it if you decided to sell it on Ebay.

Only problem is, if you want a holster also, you may not be able to use the skin case.

You may want to check out Seido (spelling?). He may have a skin case with a holster. His prices is little bit high though...

I got a BSE full body skin last week and LOVE it. It was my first time applying one so it took quite long to get it on just the way I wanted (60-70 minutes), but it provides excellent protection and no one I've let play the device has even realized it's on there.

The BSE combined with the leather pouch T-mo includes in the box is all the protection I need.
