I first was able to connect my 8350BB to wifi in the hotels but now I'm unable to connect. When I go to the menu wifi not connected although I can set up a connection it fails to connect. Something is set wrong or switched off. Any suggestions?

I think this issue is caused when media access control (MAC) address filtering is enabled on the Wi-Fi network, and the MAC address of the BlackBerry smartphone is not accepted.

Not correct. No hotel uses MAC filtering, and most home users do not either.
