Default BeamBerry Works!

Beamberry is a full featured PDF reader that was just listed in BB news - (thanks BBF !!)

I downloaded the app on my 8310 4.5 OS and it ties into Docs to go.
I opened a 17page PDF in about 10 to 15 seconds and was able to view and browse through all pages...
Software is a full featured Beta... Expires Dec. 1st 2008...
It looks good...

Link is here...

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I will try again. When I tried to open the file, the document was blurry

I had to zoom and can scroll with the trackwheel... It is not bad and I can read the entire document.

I just installed BeamBerry very recently (after recently upgrading to OS 4.5). Initially, I was bummed that I still wasn't able to open and view PDF lecture notes from my university course websites directly from the browser, but it opened when I dumped them to my phone on a computer.

It's great, but a bit slow in opening files for practical use. In addition, I think I run into a bug where half my pages appear to finish opening but the screen shows a blank white PDF page when it's not supposed to.

Also, hadn't there been previous PDF viewers for the Blackberries?
