i think this is my problem..when i go to C:ProgramFiles>CommonFiles>RIM>App Loader there is only the Loader file...and i click on that..there is no actual "OS .53" file...this is what im looking at....

Yeah sorry that is my fault. The OS's are not in the app loader folder. They are in the shared one I believe. I am at work and can't see for myself which one exactly. Should be the shared though.

No you are good. Was that the only OS folder in the loader files folder? And its no problem I am sitting here bored at work gives me something to do. If that is the only OS. Then open up the Desktop Manager and click the app loader icon and then go to software updates.

if you look at that picture i just put up, there are two possible OS's..look on the side and you should see it right above the .53..still use DM>app loader>software update for it?

Sorry was at lunch. That isn't deleting the OS off your phone that is deleting the loading files from your computer.

yea weird...i just plugged into DM 5 minutes ago and it showed the update. I canceled so that I could do a system backup beforehand and now the update isn't showing up anymore.

anyone heard about it being pulled AGAIN?

Edit: Just tried again and these are the only two updates that DM is showing

Blackberry ECMAScript Library
European Portuguese Language Support

I clicked update now to see what would happen and it says that no software updates are required for my device
