Like most of you here, we are facing the DST issues all across out network. We know of the patch located at BlackBerry, but I have a couple of questions:

1. Does this patch work for ALL BlackBerry's (old and new)?

2. If #1 is yes, will it work regardless of the O/S that each BB is running?

3. Is there a way to push this patch from the BES, or is each user going to have to apply this patch manually (following the link in the email)?

4. Do you have any suggestions or ideas on how to complete this (100+ users) in a timely manner?

Please let me know any if not all answers. Thanks a million.

The short answer to #3 is yes.

If you're on BES, your IT administrator should push out the patch to you. If you're downloading on the your own, the Blackberry site has everything you need to know. Once you've downloaded it, the 2007 DST patch will show up as the first item in your Options folder. Then you just pray that it actually works on March 11

Well, with the push going through, do the end users need to have the most recent O/S on their BB (4.1.0.292)?

ColemontHD there are mutiple threads (including a sticky http://www.blackberryforums.com/bes-...-upgrades.html ) on this topic in BES admin corner.. please read these (and post in that forum) to get a more useful response..

Oh and FYI - 4.1.0.292 is not the latest version of the device o/s, it might well be for 8700s but for 8800s and 8100s then it will be 4.2.x
