I remember reading in the fall that in version 5.0 SureType would be available. I can see it unchecked in when I run an update, but it will not let me check it.
Has anyone figured out a way to enable SureType on our 9700?

There is no SureType for BlackBerry phones with full QWERTY keyboards.

But seriously, what were you looking to do? If you're trying to cut down on typing time you might want to spend the time to edit your AutoText so you can abbreviate some of the things you type most often?

I think you are referring to Predictive Input. Go to settings > Language and Text Options and click on "Show Text Input Options". You can select Predictive Input and its options there.
