Default Keep getting Java Unhandled Exception??

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All, my bold keeps quite regularly coming up with "unhandled exception" messages, I ok through them and lose the txt functionality. Only current remedy seems to be if I pull the battery and wait for a few minutes before putting it back in this usually fixes it. Its a bit of a pain though, any suggestions on how to fix it?

cheers

What did you download/install/do just before this began to happen? Any idea as to what application cause it to occur?

My guess is you need to figure out if there is an app that is causing it and delete that app.
Another option would be to reload the OS. Don't forget to make a backup first!

Try rebooting in safe mode then use the unit for a while and see if the error occurs. If it doesn't then you've got an app that's running int he background causing the problem.

Safe mode disables all background apps that aren't part of the OS.

Safe mode
To startup in safe mode (via Knowledge Base):

Remove the BlackBerry battery and reinsert it

Hold down the Escape key after the red LED goes out and keep holding it

To exit safe mode just remove the battery and reinsert again
