Default Bluetooth options greyed in DM

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I have a 8800 w/ OS v4.2.7.4 and DM v4.7. It used to be connected to an enterprise server, but now freed. I have XP Pro v2002 SP3 running in a laptop HP 6530b. I can sync well with data in my Outlook by using the DM by using USB connection. However, when I try to sync using BT, even if the Blackberry and laptop are paired and connected, the "Bluetooth options" sections in the "Connections Options" window of the DM is greyed. In my Blackberry, under "Services" in the Bluetooth options, I read: "Headset, Handsfree Dial-up Networking". In my laptop, under "My Bluetooth Places", within my Blackberry connection, I see 2 icons: "AUDIO Gateway on Blackberry" and "Dialup Networking on Blackberry". I called MS to ensure I have the MS Bluetooth drivers, and they confirmed I do (they also uninstalled the current driver, so that the generic driver get reinstalled automatically after restarting). Any help in degreying the BT options in the DM would be greatly appreciated ! I know that this is an issue that was addressed several times in the past, so I wonder if there is a "good Samaritan" out there with some patience to guide me to solve this issue. I found some old threads related to the matter, but I couldn't arrive to a solution.

Exclamation Bluetooth option greyed out in Desktop Manager

The bluetooth option in my Desktop Manager is greyed out. I have a Storm 9500 and Lenovo T400 Laptop, Windows XP and it has a Thinkpad Bluetooth Advanced Data Rate Software.

I recall that I had done a similar exercise to connect my Nokia - I had to change the drivers - it was a long but step by step instructions but my connectivity problem was fixed.

This is my new laptop and I am using USB to connect to the Desktop Manager

I think that 9500 uses the native Windows drivers for the Bluetooth connectivity, could anyone please help me fix this problem?

Default Hello

I followed instructions form another thread & removed the WIDCOMm software, let XP install own drivers. But when I try to send a file now I get "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."

Any ideas?

"Blackberry Options" is the actual options, not the bluetooth devices. Is there a listing for the devices?

I can't delete some of my devices (need to redo the connection) and the menu is not available. Only solution I have seen is to downgrade OS, delete profile, then upgrade again.

Anyone know where they are hidden?
