I just started to use my BB. I have about 1500 contacts in my Outlook contact list and I don't want to look through the whole thing when I want to make a call (there are probably 50 or so people that I call regularly when I'm out of the office). Is there a way to have a separate "Phone Book" just for the BB that I could access like before?

By the way, I used to use Voice Dialing all the time and miss it on the new device.

This may answer your question. In contacts on the BB, just start typing the contact name, (or company name) and the BB will list those contacts containing what you entered.

You can leave your contacts on the device. When you want to place a call and your address book comes up, simply type the name (first or last or both) and it will narrow it down to the name. You don't have to scroll through them all.

For voice dialing you need a newer device like the 8800, Curve, or Pearl.
