Desktop PC Manager - error code 0x8004fcf8

Can someone help me as when I am syncing my blackberry curve 8310 an error message comes up

How do I fix this problem?

When does the error occur - before sync, while syncing? We need a bit more info.

First try a battery pull on the BB and see if that will resolve it.

If not, then remove DM 6 and install version 5. Install with your anti virus off.

Let us know if this works.

I pulled out the battery and reinserted the battery.

When it is synchronizing and its is at the processing device address book that is when the error code 0x8004fcf8 occurs. Then I say "OK" and it continues to process the device address book. Then it starts the backup process. It does process the changes in the address book.

Can anyone tell me what the error is.
