Default online poker on blackberry?

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know of any sites that offer real money online poker for blackberry? Or how to possibly rig the blackberry to use one of the sites? I think some are web based.

Just a thought - it would be awesome.

Isn't online gambling illegal in the US now?

I could be wrong, but I am fairly certain that online gambling is not illegal in the US.

The new legislation that just passed forbids US Banks from exchanging moneys with gambling sites.

I don't remember which site it was, my friend plays a ton, but new legislation was passed to further block internet gambling in the U.S. As a result this web site cancelled ALL U.S. accounts. Most other sites are still alright because they are ran from outside the country. Do you really need to play that bad that you're looking for a solution for your Blackberry?

Playing online poker is not illegal in the US, although, as mentioned, US banks are now prohibited from trading money with off-shore poker sites. Most online poker companies, if not all of them, operate from outside our borders, thus our government cannot prohibit their operation (or our access to them). Needless to say, the new legislation prohibiting transfers to/from these sites has had very little effect on the industry. Go figure, US government legislation that is supposed to restrict our rights does nothing but spend our tax dollars... gee, that's never happened before.

I'm not sure where you got your information from but speaking from the industry the new legislation has had a huge impact on every gambling site allowing real cash play. The following Monday morning every parent company took huge stock hits from ranging from 38%-78%. The biggest investor of PartyGaming, the largest online betting company lost $1.3 billion.
Apart from the actual gaming sites, many of the software companies that create poker platforms also took huge hits.

As a player and investor all I can say is this legislation is just ridiculous. Rather than find ways to regulate it like many other countries are doing prohibiting play or implementing fines and/or penalties to financial institutions will only lead to more illegal ways of online gambling.

Why not just play for real at the home and play for fun on your blackberry. Plus if you lose money on your blackberry you will probably throw it and brake it :D

I did answer: Ultimate Bet has one. Type this address in your BB to get to the page to download the applet. http://wap.ultimatebet.com/kicker.jsp. It is pretty nice looking on the 8700 and you can play low-limit cash ring games as well as free ones with it. pokerroom has mobile as well, but currently not for the BB unfortunately.
