I'm getting the same thing. Does this just happen every so often? Like the emergence of cicada locusts?

Same here -- would be nice to get a notification or something for times when getting the code signed is blocking a release...

Question Error connecting to web signer from proxy.

I'm also getting this message from 2 days, has anybody found the solution to this, apart from being on the mercy of RIM?

I am having the same problem. I can't contact anybody at RIM because it is Canadian Thanksgiving and they are all on vacation.

Yeah, it looks like the service is down today. Bringing all of their developers to a grinding halt - lovely.

I just got a response from RIM:

The city of Waterloo is performing water main upgrades and has turned off power to some RIM buildings, including the one housing the signing servers. We will be rebooting the servers as soon as power is restored.

Exclamation Call in these Issue

I contacted RIM Technical Support and obtained a tracking number on this unavailablity of code signing service . We can all sit and complain in the BB forum or track these events using their technical support tracking system. I am not sure that they will make any changes, but at least over the year they cannot deny the stats that they will have in their technical support tracking system.

Yes, their code signing services were unavailabe and the "robust" error message on the code signing app simply states that one could not connect to via a proxy. Ugh....
