Hello,
I just changed to the Bold 9000 from a 8800.
Super Phone!
Everything worked Great until I put it in the holster.

with the 8800, when I put it in the Holster the Keyboard lock was set and the display turned off.

I thought this funktion is the same with every Blackberry.
I am using the original Holster that was delivered with the Phone.

Am I forgetting a Setting somewhere?
when I place the Bold in the Holster, the Keyboard is still active.

I have read there is extra "autolock" software out there, but the holster has a magnet or something in it to active this function as well, right?

can someone help me here on the right path?

I do not have that option????

Firmware 4.6.0.216

can that be the problem?

I am not sure I can update the Firmware, i have a German T-Mobile Bold 9000.

No that setting is not on the bold (i just checked).

Only thing you can do is manually lock before holstering, as I do.
I have set the left convience key to do this, so it is easy.
I believe hlding down A is the standard LOCK key.
