Default Delayed texts now with my 8350i

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone else not getting your texts when they are sent? This is a recent new thing. If someone texts me the phone usually saves up a few texts and delivers them sometime in the middle of the night while I am asleep and I wake up and realize people are not blowing off my texts..

I called Sprint/Nextel about it and Sprint told me that it's a problem with all of Nextel. I know this is NOT true because my sister texts me and gets texts immediately with her Nextel phone, my daughter washed her phone and is using my old BB 7100i and gets her texts instantly. Most everyone who texts me is on the same network so I am sure it's the 8350i.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

I haven't been able to get my texts until i shut my bb off. I went to sprint store last week they said there was a fix . I called sprint to find out if this was true was on phone for about 2 hours from sprint to bb tech back to sprint just so they could say yes. I took the phone to the store they had it 2 hours and still no texts i hope they get it fixed soon .

Try a hard reset and re-send your service books. With the upgrade you shouldn't have the issues.
Have customer care remove and re-add your text messaging plan as well. it sometimes helps correct the issue.

having the same problem and nextel said that they are having problems with the txt, sometime i get the txt right away some take that are on hold for hours :(

i knowthis is a sprint/nextel issue. i have sprint a while ago when they had those SERO plans. i had the EXACT same isssue, and they claimed that it was a network issue with berries... either way, good luck =)

i was having the same issue yesterday, sprint said there was a problem, funny thing is i upgraded my software on my 8350i and i can txt msg but i cant get any twitter txt?? oh well
