I have been receiving the following error message on my BES server since it was setup. Any ideas what it is?

I also get event id 15000 error:
MDS-CS_servername_MDS-CS_1>:<LAYER=SCM,LifecycleException: Protocol handler initialization failed:java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind:8080.

Any idea?

I also see the same errors as posts #1 and #5 from time to time, unsure of the cuase though. Anyone with insight?

According to a post on EventID.Net it is a java jre error with an updated version not playing well.

I had the same error as post #1 pop up the other day. I contacted RIM, this was their reply:

Thank you for your continued interest in the BlackBerry solution.

The error you are seeing appears to be resulting from an issue that arose while one of your BlackBerry users was browsing the internet on the BlackBerry. Basically they visited a website and were unable to completely download a style sheet from that website which produced the error.

There is nothing in the logs to indicate which user it was or which website it was as the verbose logging does not appear to be enabled for the server. It was a one user situation and will have no impact on BlackBerry Enterprise Server functionality.
