I changed the zip code after the third try. Try deleting NY and add your city at same time.
I don't think the comfigure tab button works.

The program tends to lock up a bit. It is also doesn't sort the articles. May NOT be ready for Prime Time.

It didn't lock up my 8310, but it did cause constant clocking... the interface is very quirky, no (obvious) way to hide categories about which I care little (or not at all), and yes, I also encountered the frustration of trying to change the location via the zip code thingy.
I tossed it into the bit bucket... perhaps some day when it grows up and becomes stable, I'll give it another try.

I just uninstalled it. I like the concept of the tabbed browsing but it was affecting the operations and processes of my device.

If you scroll to the end you can hide categories.

It stopped updating and all I got was the tabs screen but no NEWS. I also had the zipcode problems. It takes up a lot of memory and that may have been my problem. I deleted it.

I enjoy the program, just don't forget to close it. It drains the battery like you wouldn't believe. It killed a fully charged battery in about 6 hours.

So THAT was what happened to my custom profile. I have been pouring over backups and trying to figure out where it went and why some other stuff was 'reset'...
Man, I hate it when third party apps pull that crap. If it turns out to be true, I won't ever use the product again... "fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, er, you can't get fooled again" (GWB)

Yup. I figured it out after installing, playing with it, uninstalling, losing my profiles , resetting my profile, installing again, playing with it some more, finally taking it off (for good) , and then finding out that my profiles were gone again.
by the way, 1) I was in Phoenix last week and, 2) I like your signature. It's so true.

Not to threadcrap, but thanks... my son is one of Phoenix's finest... and they lost a brother this weekend. The 25 year old 3-year PPD veteran left behind a wife and a 3 month old daughter.
Back on topic... for the life of me, I don't understand why software has to trash any part of the device on the way out... just clean up your own mess and leave everything else in place.

I should have read on here first. UGH.
I have had my profiles tinkered exactly the way I want them for years and since I am on BES, I don't lose them.
Until I tried this wretched program. Not only did it F up my profiles when I installed, I fixed a bunch of the profiles and when I didn't like the program anyway, it reset them again when I uninstalled.

Define "Problematic"
The app in concept is a great app. Especially if you are a news and information junkie.
They problem I had with it is that you can not configure the feeds and it has a TON of feeds. All of the main tabs had sub-tabs with everything under the sun - all of which in my world are completely irrelevant. However you can not delete any of the tabs so you stuck wasting file space and time while all of this information downloads when you open the program.
If I could have added and deleted the tabs that were relevant to the information that I want ( Like Viigo ) I probably would have kept it but it was just pure overkill.
Instead - I just bookmark the news and sports websites that I want and use Viigo.
...And yes it deleted my user profile when I uninstalled it.

This is unfortunate. I'm thinking of uninstalling this as well. Is there a preventative measure one can take to prevent this, now that we know it is happening.
Can you restore the user profile from a backup after the uninstall?

How to Uninstall?
I can't figure out how to uninstall this application. It does not show up as an application on my Curve's advanced options and also does not show up when I list application on the desktop manager. But the icon is on my screen and it still runs. I'd gladly give up my profiles to get rid of it.
