My 7290 does not give me the option to disable the password requirement. Anyone have an idea what I can do about it?

If it is a corporate BB and it is on a BES then you probably can't do anything about it.

If this was a previously owned BB with an IT Policy, search for "Remove IT Policy" - someone has developed a way to remove an IT Policy.

As was posted, if this is currently on a BES, your are out of luck.
