Hi There
I have a 9320 and not had it long. last week it asked me to set up email and as yahoo is my main email i used that... the thing is everytime i receive an email my phone tells me! now it bleeps so loud throughout the night too...

How on earth do i stop notifications? I am new so need basic instructions please as i have no idea where half of the things are on this phone.. aarrgghh

On the homescreen, just under the time and date, there is a horizontal area called the notification bar. On the left side you should see a little speaker symbol icon. Select that icon and you will see a box that says "Select a Profile" . In box select "change aounds and alerts". Go to Sounds for Selected Profile" and select "Messages-Notifyers". In that area yo can press the email account you want to change and change volume to "silent". Then save.

While you're there, look around and see all the notification option for various apps. Also from the device homescreen, find the Options icon, a wrench, and just look at the various items in there. That will help you understand what you can do with the device. The best way to learn a new device is play around with it - try things out.
