Hi, I want to transfer all my contacts from my 9900 to my older 8900. When I click the menu on the 8900 bluetooth connection there is no option to transfer contacts. There is such an option with the other bluetooth connection.

No. Use the BlackBerry Desktop Software or something like Google Sync to transfer the contacts.
