I am planning to get ONYX 9700 or Tour by Sprint.

I really want 3G.

Sprint and Tmobile has low price than ATT and verizon for Data plan ONLY. no voice since i m hearing loss.

I checked T mobile website for 3 G coveage and it look like Long Island NY has great coverage for 3G.

I havent research much bout 3G t mobile cuz theres not enough info.

So Do you expect or already own T mobile w/ 3G tmobile coming out pretty good like other carriers or will it be sucks big time slow same as EDGE?

All i want good fast than EDGE that i have already own 8320 T mobile.

Seeing as very few people have used a T-Mobile 9700, I think it is virtually impossible to guess how it will perform on 3G in Long Island, or anywhere else. We really won't know that until after it comes out and people are using it.

I have a T-Mobile 3G Aircard (same frequencies) and I find that it works very well in places where T-Mobile has 3G coverage.

I've used T-Mobile 3G and works great for me every where in New York.

I have a G1 on Long Island and the 3G performance is fine...MUCH faster than my 8800 BB which only supports edge.
