Okay, I'll tell you what I do with my contacts. This may seem a little odd to some, but I use Outlook. Except for the Name (identifier) I put all of the information: all phone numbers for one contact, all addresses for one contact, email addresses and any other information I want to document about a contact, in the (free text) Notes field. That's the big box that allows free form text to be entered (in Outlook 2007). Outlook 2010 does not sync with BlackBerry.

When you sync the device with Outlook, it shows up very nicely and neatly, just they way you typed it and layed it out in Outlook. And put your cursor on the telephone number and hit the green call button works great.

It's just the way I do it. Thanks.
