Default Bluetooth question

Please Login to Remove!

I'm new to the BB scene and really enjoy this forum. I get answers before I even know what questions to ask.
I was wondering if I could use the 7100i as a wireless link for my Tungsten e2.I believe both devices have Bluetooth (new to that also) and thought they could interact. I turned bluetooth on the BB and the PDA but no link. Can it work?
Thanks again for a great forum.

Unfortunately you can not use the BT to link the BlackBerry to any other PDA. The only BT uses are wireless headsets, a few BT keyboards, and syncing PIM data with a BT enabled desktop or laptop (under certain circumstances).

Doesn't the upcoming OS4.1 have some enhanced bluetooth functionality, though?

I had my BlackBerry 7100t paired up with my Dell Axim X50 last year.

Beef - 4.1 is out for MOST vendors. It allows you to do PIM syncing with your PC.

Erica - what can you "do" with the paired devices?

I have 4.1 with VZW on my 7130e - and it didn't enable that function...
