I'm having problems with my new Blackberry phone.... I can't view new messages? Is there a limit as to how many messages I can store in my phone? Is themes a possible cause? Hope someone can help me.

There is no numerical limit.

The first thing to try when looking at weird BlackBerry behaior is a hard reset.

To perform a hard reset, with the power on, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds. Then replace the battery and test after the device boots up.

You will not lose any data. It will not harm the BlackBerry.

If the hard reset doesn't fix the problem, it may be a good idea to do it again and wait a minute or two the second time. Some have experienced problems that were corrected by a longer battery pull, or two or three battery pulls.

I believe the reason for this is that you need to give it a while for the electricity in the phone to be completely drained after pulling the battery (there will still be some flowing in the circuits and some components may be still active).
