I want to add an XML file to my project..

How can i add the XML file to my project?

How to read the content from that file as String?

Hi to all,

am trying this code in JDE 4.2.1 and 4.3.0

FileConnection fc = (FileConnection)Connector.open("filename");

But both the JDEs Displays the same error..

Error was,

cannot find symbol
symbol : class FileConnection


I included these packages in my file,

import net.rim.device.api.io.*;
import javax.microedition.io.*;
import java.io.*;

I dont know y it show like this error?

As per the documentation, FileConnection is in javax.microedition.io.file.
