Exclamation I feel like

I feel like this version eats battery a little faster than the last version. I will give it another whole day to see. Otherwise, I really like the Myspace IM support and buddy icon support.

Locked up my 8320 when I tried to connect for the first time.

I haven't been able to execute this three key reboot so I had to pull the battery. When I went to uninstall, it didn't do it very smoothly. Ended up on some partical app info screen but when I ESCaped, the program was gone.

1.02 seems to work.

I hope the developers read this.

Cingular 8800 - Lockup when it asks me to give permission for the program to access the SD card. I have to reboot in order to get control of my BB back.

Well I'm on a tmo pearl and get both the it policy bit (2 connections, inside outside firewall) with the firewall enabled when I disable it (no resetting doesn't help) I get an exception error. Never get a popup about sd card access. Have to edit permissions to allow on data under user. Hoping this is fixed soon. Just paranoid about the loose permissions and no firewall. The sysadmin in me screams noooo

I agree. Think I lost some e-mails when I got stuck in hourglass hell trying to log out of Jive Talk. Went from 400 e-mails, with 70 unread, and 13MB free, to 20 e-mails and seven unread after. Wonder if the two are related?

13Mb free is not much memory. "Hourglass hell" is the memory cleaner deleting emails to free up memory.

John,
After clearing out all the unneded applications from the original install and adding in a few new applications, I am at 23.2MB. I can't see me being able to free up any more space and getting down to 13 after a few days of IM, Internet, e-mail use is normal for me. Though 13MB was okay but around 8-9 is where the danger starts? Any other suggestions to free up more space?

The 8703 has a lot more available memory after the OS is installed than does the 8830. My "empty" 8830 had about 24mb

I've had zero problems with this release, if anything the last one kept giving me all sorts of errors when I would come in and out of a connection. This one is solid, for me at least.
