I have the blackberry curve 8830 and its been working fine. I was using it today and then during lunch I went on the internet to search something and my blackberry froze so I rebooted it and after I did that I could not open my bbm. The icon is still there but it wont open. I tried battery popping like 5 times I have tried to reinstall bbm from app world and the internet. Im getting to my wits end. Does anyone know how to fix this????

try uninstall it from desktop manager and reinstall it from there

What OS are you running?

Try upgrading your OS (4.5 is the top for that phone IIRC) and that will add BBM automatically on install, should work just fine, if not, go to the official blackberry website, under softwares, search for the BBM and download it again (replacing your "current" version).
