I received an 8530 for my birthday last month, and while in love with it, it still doesn't have all the features of my last Android phone. The only thing I really miss, is the feed on the home screen. I like being able to see my facebook and twitter posts, along with weather. Is there any way to add it to the 8530, or am I sol?

Widgets are not available with BlackBerry OS 5 (Which is the latest your device can run), and not with BlackBerry 6 either.

For your feed although you can try an app such as SocialScope - A Mobile Inbox for your Social Networks
It is in private beta just now though yet you can sign up.
For weather you can try an app I personally recommend such as Bellshare - BerryWeather.
