I thought the Javelin didn't have WiFi - but according to a review I've just read and the Blackberry.co.uk website, it has both GPS and WiFi:

In which case, there's little advantage in having a bigger Bold?

8900 has better camera (3.2mp), a little higher res screen (but a little narrower than Bold), is the size of the Curve (vs 9000-size of the 8800), and is 2g/EDGE (vs 3g Bold). The debates mainly center around the sizes of the devices. Some like the smaller size of the Curve, some like the slightly wider screen of the Bold. Otherwise the difs are small. From what people who've used both report the download speeds on EDGE vs ATT's 3g are very similar for BB devices. It'll be a matter of personal preferences, the 8900 will perhaps be cheaper than the Bold.

Yes - I hadn't looked at the Javelin specs for a while and thought it was WiFi it didn't have rather than 3G.

Good summary - thanks. I will probably wait another couple of months until I can pick one up for a reasonable price on eBay.
