Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a (preferably) freeware GPS app that allows you to record total (3-D) distance travelled from a user-determined starting point to end point with waypoints recorded every 5s or so. Average speed or top speed recorded during the trip would be a bonus. Something like a basic Garmin E-Trex would record. I'm not looking for anything that displays maps or gets maps OTA as I travel. I'm also not interested in seeing the trip in Google Earth or anything that fancy.

Any ideas?
