Default Screen Protector - not BSE or Zagg

Please Login to Remove!

I'm looking for a screen protector - one of those hard plastic ones, rather than the more expensive BSE or Zagg. I haven't had a good experience with those and am deathly scared of water on my Bold.

Plastic screen protectors seem to be a dime a dozen, but most only cover the main screen and don't extend up to the very top. Unfortunately, sometimes the pictures of the products online are deceiving too..

Has anyone purchased a plastic screen protector that fully covers the glass in front?

Best out there for a no-mess application. Just wish they would make them available at a retailer.

Screen Patronus protectors are easy to put on without bubbles, are very durable, and completely clear. I put 'em on all my mobiles.

boxwave covers the entire screen with a cutout for the little silver mesh ear speaker piece. It's a stiffer plastic type screen and it's beautiful. Love mine. It was tough to get on without showing dust though. I had to try numerous times because I screwed up once.

Let's see.....

Boxwave = $12.95 = Screen ONLY protection

BSE = $7.99 = Entire device protection

I think that's a no-brainer....BSE by far.

Except for the fact that I am seemingly unable to install the BSE correctly and it looks like crap, and water on my phone scares the shit out of me

I use the anti-glare boxwave one. It doesn't show fingerprints as much either. If you order a set of three from boxwave you save quite a bit. Then go splits with a friend or two.

I agree. I purchased the BSE and never installed them. My main concern was the water issue.

If you follow the instructions and do it right, there is no water issue.

I'll agree with you. But also also admit I'm not perfect and there could be an slip-up. In my opinion it wasn't worth the risk.
