Default How to use the password keeper?

Please Login to Remove!

I bought a storm and I may be taking it back to get another Samsung PDA phone.

Now please tell me that there is some way for the browser to automatically (I don't mean copy and paste) the username and password on a sign in box using the password keeper.

I have to go back and forth and clip the username, then go to the webform and paste, then go back (log in again) then clip the password and go back and paste.

If that is the way this work ... I have had enough of this toy and it will be going back.

I want this to work like Firefox ... it recognizes the page and can automatically fills in the username and password.

I'm looking for reasons to keep this (I have another 3 weeks to return it) so please give me a good reason and tell me how to get this password keeper to log me into the dozens of sites I use quickly.

I put the page url in the password keeper, not sure what good that did. I plan on accessing sites via bookmarks and then would like to be able to hit a single button, put in the master password .... and it fills in the login info.

I think I found the answer in another forum and it won't do what I want it to do which is basically work the way it should as a REAL business tool.

That is the problem I have with this "toy".

The blackberry engineers should go back to their caves, rub some sticks together and get a fire going, Take out their stone tablets and chisels and then figure out how to build a real PDA for real users.

Just can't see using this stone tablet (storm) much longer.

BTW: I'm a software engineer.

I think Ascendo Data Vault has that functionality, they have a trial see if it helps.

I've had some issues like this with my Bold with some firmware releases. Here is what I did. (keep in mind, I'm ASSuming you are talking about pages like this forum etc)

In the browser, options, browser configuration, set browser identification to IE instead of the default BB. When the page loads, you should get that checkbox with the save my info. You can then switch back to BB mode and it will have saved the cookie.

If you are referring to a form fill in like windows/IE...well then I think you're SOL
