Hey everyone, question:
While listening to music through headphones, and a message comes in, or an IM or whatever the notification is, the music stops and it goes through the speaker... Right? I'm on 78. Does anyone else have this issue? I don't think it's a big problem just yet..... but maybe it'll get annoying? Lol.

Hey zkyevolved,

This "Feature" is so that even if you're listening to music or watching a vid you will know that someone is trying to contact you. However there are a few ways around it.

If you don't care whether or not you get your emails right away, you can hit the sounds shortcut at the upper left of the screen when in portrait position. Change the setting to "All Alerts Off". You will not be disturbed.

If you only want to be notified of incoming calls set the "Sounds" to "Phone Calls Only".
As the name implies you will only be disturbed if you are receiving a call.

If you want at least some sort of notification of Emails, sms and the like.Then you can set "Sounds" to "Vibrate Only". Then it will vibrate for any communication but it wont disturb your music.

Then of course theres always the "Custom Profile". This allows you to control almost ALL of the reasons and sounds/silence for communications to your Storm.

Well, if you've used a different blackberry you would notice that the notifications NORMALLY go through your HEADPHONES while listening to music. I have had 3 other blackberries, and that has been the case. Listening to music? Music stops, and notification goes through the headphones. Now, listening to music? Music stops and notification goes through the SPEAKER and NOT the headphones.

My alert goes through headphone .. I am running Verizon 9530 with .85
