Hey guys and gals,

I am new to this forum, and very new to the world of Blackberry. God i love the convenience of having one of these things. However i do have one question to ask you all.

Yesterday, i was going through my messages section on my phone deleting some email, and calls that i had either gotten or received. So i got to near the end of the log and i noticed a 1-800 number called 4 times within 30 mins of eachother. Now i did not call those numbers. No i dont have a seizure disorder and yes the phone was in my site at the times that these calls were made? Curiosity got the best of me, so i called the number, and it was a help desk for a hospital in Nebraska; I live in PA. I have no clue what happened.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thanks

Is this a new BlackBerry, or one you obtained 2nd hand? The number may have been assigned to a speed dial by a previous owner, and you inadvertently dialed it by holding its particular speed dial key down by accident.

Yes it was a second hand one. How could i go and check to see if there were some saved speed dial numbers in the phone?

On many units (you don't state your model), go to the phone dialer and click trackwheel to see VIEW SPEED DIAL LIST.

If not there, consult the manual, for another model.

Thank you so much!! That was the problem. I Must have been compressing the "X" button and inadvertently, while in my truck, calling that number. I feel kinda stupid because i never would have thought of looking at that, but i was such a simple fix. I thank you once again.
