My torch can take a video, but it can't take a regular picture. When I go to take one it starts to focus, flashes if need be then nothing, and after I try I can no longer put my cursor over the snap button. Any ideas?
I have been having the same issue, while YES a reboot helps, i want to actually get to the root of the cause. I was out on a family outing and wanted to take a photo and couldn't, had to reboot and lost the moment. so does anyone know the cause of this or know if there is a fix? i am a long time bb user, i am not a noob. Thanks in advance
I found the same question over on Crackberry and they suggested reformatting the MicroSD card. its seemed to work for others. Gonna give it a try now and report back.
The issue was back today. Took a couple of photos and then it wouldn't work. Had to reboot. I'm gonna try going back to the original OS. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile
I could really use help on this one. Major flaw. I have rebooted several times, but I look rediculous to do a battery pull just to take a pic with my new phone.
Same issue here, even got a new phone from AT&T thinking it was a specific phone flaw. Now its doing exactly as you describe...again. Battery pull doesn't fix the issue, it will take a picture or two then back to the problem.
If anyone knows the true cause please let us know.
I had this problem also, camera would not snap picture did a battery pull and it was fine for s short time then issue returned. What solved my problem was wiping the device with jl_cmdr,deleting .337 From my computer and registry doing a clean install, fingers crossed no problems for sometime now. .337 is the issue. i went back to the original OS from ATT and have not had the issue since. I am going to try the leaked .448 to see if the issue has been fixed in this release
Find the "latest OS" thread here on the forum for *your model* BlackBerry and read it through for the general idea. Then find the OS version the others are talking about that apparently solves the problem.
