I have the 665 (BlackBerry version) and find it an excellent device when used indoors. It's definitely my preferred headset for long conference calls.

In a car or any noisy environment, people at the other end complain about the background noise overriding my voice.

I've ordered a JawBone for those situationss and hope to have the best of both worlds.

I had purchased a jawbone and used it for a couple weeks and just returned it. It was pretty decent at canceling out background noise, but there were two things that were deal breakers for me. First, it was very uncomfortable in my ear - to the point of causing pain. Second, using voicedial was painful. You have to push the outside of the Jabra into your ear to get it to call up or answer the phone. The Jabra JX10 has the answer button on the side of the device. The only way to stop the pain on the Jawbone is to grab the device before pressing the autoanswer. Further it is hard to find where exactly to push.

I think the best Bluetooth so far is the new Motorola MiniBlue H9 it works great. I had the H800 first with the slide connect that worked great too but I needed something more compact and the H9 did the Job.

I have the Jawbone and can say it's 200% the best I've ever used...and stated as such by just about everyone who I talk with. They all say it sounds just like I'm on a land line. My wife is the most picky about talking with folks on BT headsets. She hates the sound of most of them. I'm extremely pleased and can say it sounds just like the video on their site.

It took me about 1 week to get used to it. My Jabra 250 sounds better in terms of what I hear, but the Jawbone is fine and again, I got used to it. I initially used some Jabra ear gels when starting out, but I eventually got one of the stock ear rings to fit just fine. Mine is now completely comfortable and light weight. I often forget it's even on my ear. It's also very tight and doesn't move around at all.

Thumbs up for me.

Besides the asthetic concern, how did it perform for you?

Is there any stereo bluetooth headset that will work with the 8800 for listening to music? If so, are there any specific settings you need to change to make it work?

Jabra BT500 works great for me.
I also feel it looks much nicer than the ones that cover your ear.

I have used the Jawbone for a little over a week now with my BB 8830 and have to say it is the best of several (Motorola, Jabra, Plantronics) that I have ever used. My last was a Motorola 850 which was junk. Jawbone is the most comfortable and best sounding after you get it to fit your ear properly with the right ear clip and earbud setup. I love the easy controls and the battery life seems very good so far. Good volume and excellent noise cancellation. I even tried talking on the Jawbone with my sunroof open at 70 mph and my wife said it sounded like I was on a land line super clear. Many of my business contacts asked if I got another phone, said I never sounded so good on their end. They could not tell I was on a cell let alone using a headset. I guess that tells the story.
