You can use this one. You may need to delete the vendor.xml file before loading to your device.

The version you downloaded from T-mobile is the Current OS from T-mobile AND Blackberry.
If you go to Blackberrys site and look for a carrier site, some are hosted on Blackberry's site, and some, T-mob especailly have their own site for you to download the blackberry OS's.
T-mobile MAY release another updated OS at some point.

The one for example which is the latest in that thread, is released by a different carrier.

Different carriers require different things in their OS's (regarding tweaks for their network).
If the current OS from T-mobile works, they will not release another until they need to (more features or fix bugs created by newer apps) for example.

AT&T still have their official OS as being .162 (i think) which is a very old OS.

Blackberry create what I assume is a core app for a version which is released to the carriers so their techs can tweak it.
If a carrier has no reason to tweak it, they then don't release it.

50.9 is actually quite high.
when it gets to about 20 or lower, then you have to start worrying!
