One of my colleagues from the UK had a "black" blackberry the size of my 7230. It was from Vodafone in the UK and the software looked totally different. Had a red color scheme and totally different icons. Anyone know if this is the new 7290 or something like that? Never saw a small color blackberry with a black case instead of the blue one.

That\'s just a vodaphone model. Special theme made only for them with the red in it. I think (not positive) that its just a 7230 in disguise.

It's just the Vodafone Theme (we could change it in 'options=>theme') so this is a 7230 from UK, in France they are black too.

SFR in france is vaguely part of the vodafone group when it suits them so that'd be why the ones in france are black

Oh, btw is there a site where you can download themes for your blackberry from? Would be cool if we could great custom themes as well..

Vodafone do seem to have better taste in casings than their rivals, they had the better 7230 casing and now the better looking 7100, its so weird when you consider their custom theme is uglier than the default one. :D

There are no released tools for creating a custom theme so the only custom themes out there are the vodafone ones and the one on the 7100t.

Vodafone is getting the 7100 as well? I thought it was exclusive to tmobile for now.

It was announced last week, they'll be shipping it at the beginning of next month just like tmobile.

THe exclusive part for tmobile is just tmobile us, the rest of the tmobile group will have to wait their turn since vodafone have the european exclusive.

btw in france we have the black BB by vodafone/sfr, and the blue one, by Orange
