Default Memory bytes action

Please Login to Remove!

Still rockin' a BB 9000 and extremely happy with it. No plans to upgrade to the 9700 cuz of the AT&T upgrade policy-can't upgrade until 2011. (May break down a buy a new device should the right one come along.)

I've noticed the phone's memory drops end of day from 35mb to about 20mb, heavy usage thruout the day. I charge nightly, auto/off 2AM-6AM. Each morning, I notice I'm up to about 35mb after fully charging the device. I have the Quick Pull app set to the 15mb reset threshold, but have never hit that.

Does charging the phone daily have anything to do with the byte increase?
(20 3rd party apps on the phone)

Happy Holidays!!!!

I'm running 5.0.0.314 and memory never goes below 30MB, and I have like 12 or so apps!

I don't believe charging the phone makes a difference with memory, the reason your memory goes up in the morning is bc you shut your phone off from 2-6am. Its just like doin a battery pull

Just installed 5.0.0.411...running great so far. Other BBF threads suggested I get VVM from an earlier 5 version. If so, am I just installing the VVM cods from a previous 5 version that has VVM, or do I need to do more? Happy 2010 to all!

Really like this build. 9000 has no problems...I see an official release above. You were absolutely correct: More memory, phone/apps running great! Thanks for your insight G!
