Put a screen in a blackberry for someone which works fine but someone before attempted it and broke the plug on the motherboard for the keyboard now the keyboard wont work. Will a phone shop be able replace the connector on the motherboard or will I need to get another motherboard for the phone?

Repair or replace all depends on the way it was broken. if the connector is ok and your able to reconnect it, solder it or not you may not have to give it to a repair shop.

It also depends on your ability.
