hey guys i downloaded the software to unbrand my bold but haveing some issues when i istalled and did everything that i need to do it was giveing me an problem it wouyld peep and then no window opens. what gives what am i doing wrong. message me if you can help thanks

You may need to gather a couple more items; courage and information.
Everything is available to do most anything, and in this reference it is most certainly accessible. If this is beyond your current capacity don't do it. If you are capable then do it . Family and Community are weakend by those who would have others do it for them.

i am pretty sure i am not missing anything i downloaded the 800+ meg file and downloaded the installer and the updater. did the install and everything and transferd files to replace like people said to do but i am getting an error i have done my research on line and have seen so many online video of people doing the debranding step by step but my main issue is step one get the program up and running. i cant do it , anything else i can take care off.

Default ok new error

ok got the program running the error i am getting is "cannot create CFP instance " whats does that mean did some google on it some people were saying to turn off the internet my internet was not work when i had it running.

Put it this was I am very technically incline and it was a pain to get the software working right and to even start up. This is not designed for the newbie user.

The issue is that you are asking us to support you with software that is not legal for you to have or use. The rule on this forum is that this software and process is not discussed anywhere, including in PM, so the mods and users are not stressing over nothing. Further, RIM does care that software that is not legal for distribution was distributed and is being used to debrand phones and more. at&t also cares because they want customers to use the 3G network, not the EDGE network. They have publicly stated this. Again, telling you how to fix your problem amounts to talking about the software and process which we're not going to do here. Please understand this point, and stop asking questions.

fisrt of all Att does NOT care about what band you are using if someone is not getting 3 g then thats an issue but if someone wants to downgrade to a slower speed att does not care. yes i agree att says it publicly they want you to USE the 3g but from what i know and from my friend a TECH guy who works for ATT not a customer service rep he is one of the guys who keeps an eye on the network. he has said to me that they dont care they just want to make sure that you know that they are going to stop supporting edge one day. . as far as talking about this issue that i am haveing its been fixed and debranding as i type this thanks for nothing.
