I recently tried to sync my BB Pearl to my Mac and PocketMac gives me an error (unable to connect to BB (error 1)) and doesn't recognize that there's a device plugged in. I don't know if this is related at all to Leopard, however no matter what I try doing (including but not limited to reinstalling the software - twice, restarting, consulting forums, etc etc.

Any ideas of what I can do?

Just to give you a couple more specifics, I am running on a MacBook Pro and connecting through USB.

I'm afraid that I can't help with your specific issue, but you may have more luck in the Mac forum.

Unfortunately, many people have issues with PocketMac and often the advice given by others is to give Mark/Space Missing Sync a go. However, since your MBP doesn't seem to see the device it may be that PocketMac isn't the culprit and you would have the same trouble with Missing Sync. As far as Leopard goes, I know that some people have had problems with PocketMac and Leopard. I don't use PM, but Missing Sync has been working ok with Leopard for me.
