ATT have also suspended new activations of VVM.
I believe if you have it, and activated it, you've still got it.

They just wont give it to anyone else.

I had VVM (and .297). All was working well, however this past Sunday, I received a "standard" VM notification, rather than the VVM one. I called yesterday and was told (after spending quite a while on hold while the CS Rep "did some research") that VVM was suspended along with the pulling of .297.

I'll be calling back today to speak with AT&T's Data folks to verify. At least for me, VVM no longer works, even though my account has it as active.

So i downloaded the 4.6.0.513/4.6.0.301 from the other thread and it worked but when I check about I see v4.6.0.301 ( platform 4.0.0.245)

Is this correct?

AT&T's VVM is still active. I had an error over the weekend with my password. I just got off the phone with AT&T's tech support about 2 hours ago. They successfully reset my account, and I have received several messages on my Visual Voice Mail application. For those keeping score, I got my VVM activated about 3 weeks ago when I upgraded to OS .297... if you had it, it should still work.

Interesting. I just got off the phone with one Tech rep (AT&T Data, NOT 1st line CSR). He told me to call back on a different line, and have them reset my account. When I did, THAT Tech rep repeated the "VVM has been disabled for all users" pending release of new AT&T software. Looks like another call to AT&T. Thanks for the update, fonejunkie!

Stopped in to the AT&T store close by, and as per their recommendation, removed battery AND sim card. Put card and battery back in, waited for phone to re-start. Went to VVM, and it said "Service not provisioned" like it was new. Called in to voicemail (press/hold 1), input password, and voila. All is good. VVM works like it used to. Fonejunkie is correct, and it seems to be the case with me as well. If you had VVM before AT&T pulled the update, you should still have it now. Thanks again, fonejunkie
