I am new to the BB world, I feel somewhat lowtech while starting to learn its options, etc . I have always had a conventional cell phone that sent text and MMS pic mail and now that I have the 8330 with Sprint and I understand that they suck and don't offer the MMS option and I have to attach a pic /video in an email.. My question lies here, if I go and set up my yahoo email and have it available to access from my main screen with the icons will I be able to log out of my yahoo, or would anyone who has my phone ( say it was lost or stolen, etc) be able to view any and all of my email info? Or is there a way to log out like other emails do ( yahoo, hotmail, etc)?
It will automatically push email to your device, anyone would have access to it. If that is a concern of yours, set a password on the device in Options > Security Options > General Settings.
Thanks you for the info and the welcome.. Lastly, is their not an option to attach images to an email when I access yahoo from the browser? It has to be through the BB email, is that correct?
Click on the link provided, create an account. Set up your yahoo account there and test it out. If it isn't what you're looking for, you can always log into the site again and delete the account.
