Yesterday, my syncing started working erratically. I have 749 contacts in Outlook, but it will only copy 718 to my BB. I tried resetting the sync config, deleting the contacts from the BB, but it will not copy all of my contacts back into the BB.

Check the log in desktop manager for clues. Look through your contacts, particularly new entries, and look for empty entries or entries with blank name fields.

I am new to BB and I have an 8310 Curve. I need detailed instruction on how to sync my BB to my Outlook Contact list on my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'll assume you are not on BES and that you're using a PC. If so, you'll need to install desktop manager on the PC. Have you done that?
