Hi!

Just a quick question. There appear to be quite a number of logs on the BES....do any of them record the quanity of data being transferred by the server...or is there some other way to find this out? We are about to go into negotiations with the wireless provider and we were wondering whether we could perhaps move from unlimited data transfer plan to something fixed (but above current usage)....and a bit cheaper!

Most of the data is there, but not easily gathered.
You'd need to write some pretty advanced scripts to parse the logs and compile some accurate numbers.

For any BES environment, I do NOT recommend switching to a non-unlimited plan on the handhelds.

Thanks so much for that....I think you've just saved me a wadge of time trawling through the logs....and trying to negotiate a false economy!
