I don't know if some of you use Microsoft Office Communicator (MOCS 2007), that is the new unified communication service of Microsoft that replaces LCS (2005).
We have just implemented it on our infrastructure and installed the service on our BES and deployed a few client on BlackBerry (IM client are on SP3)
Well, the fact is : it does work : you can chat with people in your company on their local computer.
But the product is not yet fully operational :
when you only have MOCs on BB : you are seen by other people. As soon as you use it on pc : you are always seen as not connected on the BB client...
Other point : you can manage access level group on your desktop communicator, but there is no such access level on the BB.
I have understood that a new verison should be released on upcoming SP5 (feb 2008)
